FROM PRISONERS TO PRAISERS

The true worshippers are a newly created people. The resurrection of Jesus and the coming of the Holy Spirit transform prisoners into ‘praisers’.

We are a new kind of person when we enter into Christ’s plan. It is the difference between being a lost orphan and a child adopted into a loving home. It is a change in core identity from being sin’s prisoner, to the Saviour’s ‘set free’. We are newly created when we enter into the family of God, becoming a person that we never were before.

1 Peter 2:
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

You were brought to the Father through the saving mission of Jesus and the nudging work of Holy Spirit. You were made new and set free from the prison life. You may now join in the Father’s mission to bring more of His children home.
