In the beginning…

Genesis chapter one and John chapter one tell us what happened before the world as we know it existed.

At the start, God created the heavens and the earth. At the start, Jesus was in the Godhead and active in the Creation.

The story of Christ’s birth is a beautiful, divine anomaly when the Creator becomes the Created. The ‘always existing’ Christ of the Godhead becomes wrapped in human form and is born into the Creation that he started. God becomes fully human while remaining fully God.

Six days of Genesis—God’s creative genius being spoken and formed. Six days of the Creator fashioning a Universe with intimate ties to Himself. It starts with a special planet placed in an immeasurable universe.

Genesis 1:
1-2 First this: God created the Heavens and Earth—all you see, all you don’t see. Earth was a soup of nothingness, a bottomless emptiness, an inky blackness. God’s Spirit brooded like a bird above the watery abyss.
3-5 God spoke: “Light!”
        And light appeared.
God saw that light was good
        and separated light from dark.
    God named the light Day,
        he named the dark Night.
It was evening, it was morning—
    Day One.

A secret in the Christ becoming Jesus in Body is in understanding the fullness of the Trinity and knowing the Christ is from the beginning while Jesus came in time and space about 2016 years ago. God become flesh as you expressed in agreement with John 1 Gen. 1 and Ephesians 1. Great and important stuff. Thanks for sharing.
