EXPLORING CONNECTIONS

Matthew 6:
14-15"In prayer there is a connection between what God does and what you do. You can't get forgiveness from God, for instance, without also forgiving others. If you refuse to do your part, you cut yourself off from God's part.

What are your re-occurring prayers about?  If you check the areas where you are most frustrated in life that is likely an area where God wants to work.

God wants us to make the connection between the troubles that bother us; and how that connects us with Him.  If someone hurts us, how does this connect to God?  How does God view the one who hurt us?  That is to become our view.

If I’m always praying for money, what is the connection?  Do we pray to get more money or do we pray to be connected to our ultimate Provider?  Do we pray to get more money or to be free from the love of money?

Prayer is a venue of relationship for processing all of the ways we are disjointed in life.  In our disconnection, we reach out to connect with our Father.
